Each turn the AI agent takes on a conversation, reading it, looking things up and writing a reply, counts as one AI action, whether the reply waits for approval or goes out on autopilot. Turns run on your own model key are not counted.

Yes, on any plan. Pick OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter or a custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint in Settings → AI. Your workspace then runs on your account and your quota, and those AI actions do not count against the plan.
